A doctorally prepared nurse practitioner with more than 15 years in healthcare, spanning primary care, inpatient hospitalist medicine, and emergency and urgent care. He trained at Duke University — completing his master’s and a post-master’s sub-specialization in endocrinology — and spent four years as a specialist with Duke Endocrinology. He received his doctorate from Nebraska Methodist College after presenting his Capstone in Diabetes Management. He opened Phoenix Family Care to shorten the months-long waits many Arizona families face for a primary care provider.
